Mass Effect: Andromeda - Patch 1.06 Adds Improvements to Facial Animations, Stability, Fixes Bugs and more!

BioWare continues it's mission to update Mass Effect: Andromeda, by stamping out annoying bugs and fixing performance in some areas. Deluxe owners will also get rewarded too.

While the game still suffers from some issues, BioWare is still hard at work to fix various issues with the game and has delivered yet another patch which promises to quell a number of annoyances with the game and finally fixes that Nomad Shield Crafting problem that has been plaguing a number of players (such as myself). The developers have managed to improve various other things too, like not greying out dialogue options when characters have more to say - before the change it was unclear if a character had more to say or not. Multiplayer has also received a number of tweaks and undergone a massive overhaul by boosting powers, weapons and enemy difficulty.

Below you can see just how the opening moments look when compared from the original release and the new patch, subtle changes to facial animations, hair and lighting all make the game look even better. Plus as you can see the Omni tool has had a slight change to make it look less "pixelated" from the original, which was one of the minor complaints I had with it.

Original Game vs 1.6 Update

The patch also adds in extra rewards for players with the Deluxe or Super Deluxe Editions, if a player owns either of these they will receive two custom Nomad skins, a new casual Pathfinder outfit, and an exclusive multiplayer pack with a high chance of receiving an ultra-rare item.
