The kingdom of Nostria has seen better days. King's Bounty II is a single-player fantasy RPG that combines third-person exploration with turn-based tactical combat. Journey through the world of Antara, uncover the stories of its inhabitants, and build an army of warriors and fantastic creatures. Your adventures take you across the kingdom of Nostria, but when battle calls, it's your skills as a commander that will be put to the test.

A WORLD BEYOND THE BATTLEFIELD
Travel through the towns, villages, forests, and forgotten corners of Nostria. Meet its inhabitants, investigate strange occurrences, uncover secrets, and take on quests that reveal the many sides of a kingdom struggling to hold itself together.

Some people will seek your help. Others will try to use you for their own ends. And occasionally, what appears to be a simple errand may lead you somewhere entirely unexpected.

UNLIKELY HEROES
Choose from three unlikely heroes: Aivar, a disgraced knight turned mercenary seeking a second chance; Katharine, a noble-born mage determined to reclaim her stolen inheritance; and Elisa, a peasant girl whose newfound magical powers have inspired her to bring peace to a war-torn land. Each comes to Nostria with their own ambitions, convictions, and reasons to get involved in the kingdom's troubles.

As your adventure unfolds, you'll face decisions that put your convictions to the test. The Ideal system reflects your character's beliefs and influences how certain quests and situations can be approached.

Develop your hero's talents, acquire new equipment, and decide what kind of leader you want to become.

Recruit and command an army drawn from the many factions and creatures of Antara. From disciplined soldiers and skilled archers to spellcasters and fearsome beasts, every unit brings something different to your ranks.

Experiment with different combinations, discover how your troops complement one another, and build a force suited to your preferred tactics.

BATTLEFIELD IS YOUR WEAPON
Take command of your troops on hex-based battlefields shaped by the world around you. Hills, obstacles, narrow passages, and differences in elevation all influence how a battle unfolds.

Position your units carefully, exploit enemy weaknesses, combine their abilities, and use the terrain to your advantage. An army that seems unbeatable in an open field may find itself at a disadvantage when forced to fight through a narrow passage. Ьake the most of your troops, and learn from every victory…and defeat.
