A Plague Tale Requiem Developer Talk: How the gameplay differs from Innocence
More freedom for humans and rats! How the developers of A Plague Tale: Requiem improve the gameplay.
Focus' successful action adventure A Plague Tale: Innocence, developed by Asobo Studio, shines with a good balance of sneaking, puzzles and action scenes. There is also an unmistakable narrative rhythm that carries you through the game and hardly anything can lead you off the path, since Innocence is not an open-world title full of distractions.
Today, in a recorded conversation with developers, we learn why the sequel A Plague Tale: Requiem will give players a little more freedom without any loss on the narrative aspect. Players should be able to approach the tasks more freely without being constantly overrun by dangers that lead to having to switch hectically to survival mode.
