Only a few more weeks to go until legendary pirate Captain Edward Kenway returns to helm the Jackdaw once again, with the launch of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced on July 9th. This upcoming remake has been built from the ground up, with new models, modern gameplay mechanics and even a few extra quests to take on. Mostly everything returns (minus things like the modern day office and Freedom Cry DLC), and now everything looks more akin to recent titles from the series (Assassins Creed Shadows). Expect better lighting, refined combat and even a few new sea shanties!

Those who weren't keen on the fail states from stealth encounters will also be pleased to know that they have completely redone that so it won't be a game over if you get spotted. Plus, the game also includes a crouch button in line with more recent entries in the series. The original Black Flag launched all the way back in 2013, and fans have been expressing their desire to return to it on modern hardware.
