Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced: Cinematic Trailer Shows a Sequence from a New Quest

Ubisoft has released a new cinematic trailer for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced. It features scenes from content that was created from scratch for the remake, including a musical interlude and a glimpse into the brand-new quest “Blackbeard's Treasure.”

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is the complete remake of the acclaimed 2013 pirate action-adventure game, in which you guide Edward Kenway through the Caribbean of the early 18th century—on the high seas, in port cities, and right into the conflict between the Assassins and the Templars. The open-world game combines naval battles, stealth, and parkour with a reimagined story, completely revamped graphics based on the latest Anvil Engine, and rewritten content. This includes the new quest “Blackbeard’s Treasure.”

The “Health to the Company” trailer offers a first look at a cutscene from the Blackbeard quest—a mission developed exclusively for the remake. Familiar characters return in it, bringing new storylines with them. There’s even some singing, and it’s quite beautiful. A shanty as the cinematic opener? It fits the Caribbean as well as the wind fills the sails.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced will be released on July 9, 2026, for PC and is now available for pre-order on Gamesplanet (including bonuses).
