Developer Deck13 (The Surge) and publisher Focus Entertainment invite you to cheerful sand surfing in a dangerous fantasy world. In Atlas Fallen, large parts of the world are buried under sand - and you make use of it to get from A to B with fast-paced surfing manoeuvres. A new trailer, the last before the release on August 10th, introduces this game feature with a wink under the title "Lord of the Sands".

With the help of a mysterious "Gauntlet", you bundle divine powers in Atlas Fallen in the fight against an overpowering tyrant and use them to tame the sand beneath your feet. You can also play the game in co-op, because the multiplayer mode also lets you complete all campaign objectives in online co-op mode with a human companion. The Gauntlet's powers can also be used to strengthen weapons, and multiple attacks in a row grant you momentum, which in turn makes you even stronger - but also more vulnerable.

It is the synergy effects of sand surfing, action-packed jump attacks, charged weapons, the use of skills and, in online co-op, the respective character builds that make Atlas Fallen a kind of Monster Hunter.
