The dawn of a new era with Atomic Heart 2 - Summer Game Fest

After a first opus in 2023, Mundfish is back at it again, announcing Atomic Heart 2 at Summer Game Fest 2025. If you liked the crazy retro-futuristic atmosphere, the creepy robots and the BioShock-esque craziness, the trailer should please you.

For those of you just starting out, the first Atomic Heart sent you to an alternative USSR where robotic utopia was turning into a nightmare: freewheeling AI, crazy machines, weird experiments... And you, in the middle of it all, trying to work out what was wrong.

Atomic Heart 2 picks up right where the first left off, but this time it's the whole planet that's in trouble. The trailer shows an even more open world, with a wide variety of biomes, parachute jumping and mechas. In terms of gameplay, Mundfish promises some serious action: an augmented combat system, wallruns and telekinetic powers. All with a healthy dose of chaos (special mention to the giant monster who takes a syringe).
