E3 2017 - Beyond Good and Evil 2 Announced, First Cinematic Trailer!
It happened, during the Ubisoft E3 Conference we got our very first look at the prequel to one of the most beloved games in Ubi history as Beyond Good and Evil 2 was revealed.
Creator Michael Ancel was at the event to thank fans for their support which helped make this game a reality. The original Beyond Good and Evil released way back in 2003, and saw players control Jade, a young photojournalist who takes up a photography job to help her orphaned children.
Beyond Good and Evil 2's story will take place before the birth of Jade, in a distant solar system called System 3 in the 24th Century. But it's not all roses and petals as System 3 is a hub for piracy and with resources in short supply there will be a fight for survival.
You can listen hear a detailed breakdown of the trailer with Michael Ancel below as he talks us through the design process and what's happening.
The world of Beyond Good and Evil 2 will have a solar system to explore, that is quoted as "a "massive, seamless online environment", which can be explored solo or with friends.
Originally we heard about a sequel to Beyond Good and Evil all the way back in 2008 during another E3 conference, but now almost a decade later the light is shining at the end of the tunnel as the game has been revealed officially. Not word on a release date, but we'll be glad it's coming at all!
