Call of Duty WW2 - The Open Beta preload begins, play Sep 29 - Oct 2
Activision have opened the gates and are now allowing players to preload their upcoming multiplayer test for Call of Duty World War 2, which will start on Friday September 29th.
Take the battle to the frontlines as you can get a slice of the action with the Call of Duty World War 2 Multiplayer beta, starting this Friday September 29th and lasting until Monday October 2nd. Beta participants can enjoy the new War Mode where players compete against one another to secure objectives as a team. Action will take place on historical locations such as Pointe du Hoc and the Ardennes Forest. Team up with friends this weekend as you play in various other modes like Team Death Match, Domination, Hardpoint, and more.
Simply head to the store page for the Call of Duty: WWII - PC Open Beta, click the green button that says "Install Game" and start pre-loading the game.
If you play during the Open Beta, you will get the exclusive Beta Combat Pack when Call of Duty: WWII launches this November.
Minimum System Requirements
Here's what you'll need to be able to run the Beta, and it doesn't seem like you'll need the latest hardware to be able to jump in and have a game (though how enjoyable your experience will be is another matter). As always it's recommended to update your drivers for AMD / NVIDIA to the latest available. At present there are no drivers tailored for the Beta, but we expect them to be out soon.
