The Vision Behind Call of Duty: WWII - How World War II was brought to Life
When it was announced that Call of Duty would be going back to it's roots, many fans were pleased to see Sledgehammer Games taking the series to World War II. In this new video we get a look at what went into recreating some of the key moments from the War that changed everything, including the famous battles which shaped history.
The developers wanted to create something as authentic as possible, so to that end they have been researching historic vehicles, weapons and even using archive footage from World War II to bring their vision for the game to life. Recent Call of Duty titles have focused on the near future Sci-Fi aspect, with the last title Infinite Warfare taking us to Space for the first time. Now that the series is going back to the roots of the series, it's clear that they've learned from the mistakes and are listening to feedback from the community.
Call of Duty: WWII will be releasing on November 3rd on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
