Cities Skylines 2 Devs show road construction for the first time to kick off new video series!
With the topic "Road Building", the developers of Cities Skylines 2 have started a new video series that aims to explain all the basics of the City Builder. Everything is more comfortable than in the predecessor.
They are still part of every cityscape, the densely networked traffic routes in large cities. In Cities Skylines 2 from developer Colossal Order, which is available from October 24th 2023, traffic routes are once again a top priority. Roads and paths connect city districts, increase the comfort of residents, and allow emergency services to arrive quickly if there is a fire somewhere. And in complex cities, such as those to be built with Cities Skylines 2, construction options must be correspondingly flexible while also being practical and easily accessible.
In the new feature highlights video from publisher Paradox Interactive, "Road Tools", the development team comments on road building in the game, shows new and tried-and-tested options and clarifies what has changed compared to the first Cities Skylines. Streets are the blood and nerves of a living city, so to speak, and that's why it's sometimes important that parking spaces are also available, roundabouts work well and, for example, rails for public transport also keep things running.
