How to get your Concord Steam Beta Keys
So you've pre-orded Concord and ready to jump in to the beta weekend, but not sure how to get keys to your friends? Below we've detailed the process so you can be prepared.
Step 1 - Pre-order
First off you'll have to pre-order the game, either the Standard Edition or the Deluxe Edition. No matter which version you choose you'll have the same amount of Beta invites for friends (1 for you and 4 spares).
After pre-ordering from Gamesplanet, go to your account page and enable the order to get your Steam key.
Note: The Pre-order key is for the full game, you'll need to send Beta Gifts via Steam for your friends.
Step 2 - Redemption
Redeem the game on Steam as you normally would (see our guide if you need help). Then you'll see two entries in your library, one for the main game, and one for the beta. If you do not see these you may want to restart your client.
Step 3 - Getting your extra Beta invites
To get your extra beta gifts you'll need to use your Steam inventory. Click the little bell icon and you should see you Concord Beta gifts have been added to your account.
Step 4 - Sending Steam gifts to others
Head into your Steam inventory (can be accessed by clicking your profile name and selecting "inventory"). Once you've found the Concord Beta gift in your account you're able to send to a friend or family member with the "Send Gift" option.
You can either email the gift, or if you're already friends with them on Steam you can send directly from Steam. Your friend will the need to add the gift to their Steam library (Add to my Library) and that's it! When the beta begins you'll be able to jump in and play together. Any questions? Shoot us a mail via [email protected] and we'll be happy to help.
