Pirate Builder Corsair Cove: New Trailer Shows Skull Rock Island in Detail

A new trailer for Hooded Horse's Corsair Cove introduces Skull Rock Island—the central setting of the upcoming pirate city-builder.

Corsair Cove lets you, as the leader of a pirate community, build a colony on a barren island. Literally upward, too, because in this unusual “city” builder with raiding options, you’ll also be building vertically due to limited space. The new trailer focuses on Skull Rock Island: a fairly peaceful atoll with enough rock and land to build your pirate capital. Shipwrecks can be used as a source of resources, and if you like, you can settle right beneath the striking skull-shaped rock formation that gives the island its name. If you dive deeper, you’ll also discover more secrets beneath the water’s surface.

The PC release is set for July 31, 2026.
