Cronos: Lazarus in a detailed gameplay video – the journey from Pathfinder to Warden
Bloober Team unveils new gameplay details from Cronos: Lazarus: teleportation, the decoy trick and the Gladius weapon. The expansion is set to be released this autumn.
Bloober Team is now really stepping up the pace with Cronos: Lazarus. In terms of gameplay, too, the upcoming expansion shifts the focus more towards combat. Instead of a sedate survival horror experience, a much more aggressive combat style awaits you. Using teleportation, you can dodge groups of enemies in a flash or reach otherwise inaccessible areas, including hidden resources. The decoy trick leaves behind a ghostly double whilst you reposition yourself, invisible to enemies. Also new to your arsenal is the Gladius, a significantly more powerful weapon with a higher rate of fire and penetrating projectiles that deal increased damage.
In Cronos: Lazarus, take on the role of the Pathfinder on his journey to become a Warden, isolated in the Terminal and cut off from the Collective. Your mission: to revive a lost essence before it vanishes forever – in secret, for the Collective must not find out. But you are not alone: a new, relentless pursuer has been sent to track you down and eliminate you. The duels are designed to escalate into large-scale, cinematic showdowns that will put your skills to the test. The expansion thus builds on the oppressive world of Cronos: The New Dawn and shifts the focus towards action-packed chases.
