Destiny 2: Forsaken Editions and Annual Pass Details

Last night we got our first look at what Bungie has in store for us with Destiny 2's second year and were treated to a look at the Forsaken Expansion which launches on September 4th. The DLC will be available later this year, but there will also be an Annual Pass for players looking to get even more content throughout the year and up to Summer 2019. Let's break down each version and what the difference is between the Forsaken DLC and the Annual Pass.
Destiny 2: Forsaken Editions
The Destiny 2: Forsaken Expansion will be available in 3 separate editions. We'll soon have the Forsaken DLC available to pre-order on Gamesplanet, which one will you be getting?
- Destiny 2: Forsaken for £34.99
- Destiny 2: Forsaken + annual pass for £59.99
- Destiny 2: Forsaken Digital Deluxe Edition for £69.99
Players who want to get ready with the next expansion can pick up the Standard version for £34.99. For those looking to get the Complete Package, the Digital Deluxe Edition will contain the Forsaken DLC plus the Annual Pass. If you pre-order the game you'll also receive the following bonuses:
- Ace of Spades Last Hand Exotic Ornament
- Queen of Hearts Exotic Ship
- Standoff Exotic Emote
- Shades of Cayde-6 Armor Shaders
Destiny 2 Annual Pass Content
In Destiny 2's second year, Bungie wants to deliver even more content and will be updating the game with a host of paid and also free DLC for those who do not own the Forsaken Expansion. A new Annual Pass will be made available that will offer 3 seasonal updates that includes new endgame challenges, new weapons, armor and cosmetic armor and more. The first of these packs (Black Armory), will be available in Winter 2018, the second (Joker's Wild) arrives in Spring 2019 and the final one (Penumbra) will appear in Summer 2019.
