Destiny 2: Iron Banner Event comes to PC on Nov 21 and double XP weekend Nov 17 - Nov 20
Bungie offers up double XP this weekend for Destiny 2, plus PC players will be getting the first Iron Banner Event next week on November 21st.
Guardians have plenty to look forward to this weekend in Destiny 2, starting today at 10am PST (6pm UK time) the Clarion Call event will begin, which will offer double the amount of experience points gained in combat or by completing tasks. Maybe this is the weekend to finally get those other classes leveled up? The Clarion Call will run until November 20th, so you have the entire weekend to enjoy the increased xp boost.
New for PC players: The Iron Banner event
Players who are enjoying Destiny 2 on console are aware of the Iron Banner event for the game, but for PC players it's been absent. That will change on November 21st when the event becomes active for PC. The Iron Banner event was previously in the original Destiny, and allowed players to earn rewards such as reputation tokens and emblems for participating. To take part you will need to visit Lord Saladin and help him out with various daily challenges and milestones that are offered to you. Before you can begin the Iron Banner event though you must do the following:
- Complete the Destiny 2 campaign to open access to the Tower.
- Find Lord Saladin in the Tower tower to begin your Iron Banner quest.
- Open the Iron Banner playlist to start.
If you successfully complete the the challenges given to you, then you will get the first season's Iron Banner Badge "Shades of Radegast". In the second season of the Iron Banner event, new rewards will be arriving as well as new ways to earn them.
