Destiny 2 - PC Will Offer Customisation and New 4K Inverted Spire Gameplay
Bungie are set to release their PC Beta for Destiny 2 next week and will be ensuring PC players are looked after, as they offer SLI Support, Rebindable Keys, Higher Framerates and more.
During GamesCom, Nvidia GeForce spoke to Bungie's Community Manager David "Deej" Dague about the PC and what fans can look forward to when the game arrives on October 24th.
We're super excited to be launching Destiny 2 on the PC. It's the first time in a long time that our studio has been able to serve a player on that platform. We know we have our work cut out for us, but we feel really confident in what we have built.
Bungie wants players to have full control over their experience and they will be offering a number of PC options to help with that. Some of the PC Options players have at their disposal include rebinding your keys, changing your FOV, adjusting your mouse sensitivity, multiple monitor support, SLI support, and Destiny 2 will also include High Dynamic Range (HDR) for any monitor that is able to use that.
With many PC titles being released over the years, one of the big concern with fans is that the PC version is not going to be up to the same standards as console counterparts. Deej spoke a little about concerns fans may have towards the PC version :
"Bungie is home to many passionate pc gamers and they have been looking forward to having the opportunity to experience the product of all their hard work on their preferred platform. So they have treated the PC gamer like a first class citizen, as always in our community. We have built this version of the game from the ground up to be awesome on state of the art hardware.
