15 Minutes of Devil May Cry 5 Gameplay from Gamescom

Get a glimpse of the upcoming Devil May Cry 5 with 15 minutes of gameplay footage from the Gamescom demo as Nero battles his way through enemies and unleashes devastating combos.

When we first heard that a new Devil May Cry game was coming all the way back in June at E3 this year we were blown away, and many fans were waiting to get their first look at some gameplay for the game. Thankfully Capcom are giving players at Gamescom a chance to try out a slice of the action as a demo for Devil May Cry 5 is being shown off at their booth!

IGN have had a chance to play the game at Gamescom and are showcasing the game with 15 minutes of footage running on Xbox One X hardware. The demo sees Nero (from Devil May Cry 4) wielding his devil breaker arm to unleash some powerful attacks on enemies, with new upgrades allowing it to cause a shockwave or allow the player to get superior aerial agility when in the air. Like Devil May Cry 4, players will be able to combo a number of attacks with the gun, devil breaker and sword to create some amazing combos. As Nero makes his way through the city streets fighting off demons we get a glimpse at new types of moves, as well as a terrifying boss at the end which will require some serious dodging to take him down.

Devil May Cry 5 is targeting a Spring 2019 release date for PC, Xbox One and PS4.
