Bandai Namco provides a detailed insight into the central mechanics of the upcoming role-playing game Digimon Story Time Stranger in the latest system trailer.
Investigations between reality and the digital world
The trailer sets the mood for a typical Digimon setting: You slip into the role of an ADAMAS agent (either Dan Yuki or Kanan Yuki), investigate paranormal phenomena in Tokyo and travel to the digital parallel world of Iliad. There you uncover a catastrophe that threatens both worlds.
450+ Digimon with personality and Digifarm
Digimon Story Time Stranger includes more than 450 Digimon that can be recruited by scanning them in battle. Pokemon sends its regards. On the digifarm, they grow depending on food, training and one of 16 personality types, which influences status development and digivolution.
Tactical battles with agent skills and cross arts
The game focuses on turn-based battles in which you have to specifically combine attributes and elements. The three Digimon types (Vaccine, Virus, Data) have a classic strength system, supplemented by elements such as fire, water and plants. This creates a strategic advantage through targeted combinations.
