Try Dynasty Warriors Origins demo before the Deluxe Advanced Access begins tonight!

The Dynasty Warriors series is all about epic battles where players (more or less underwater) take on hordes of enemies on battlefields inspired by the stories of the 3 Kingdoms of ancient China.

In this new opus, Dynasty Warriors: Origins, you take on the role of the ‘Wanderer’, a noble warrior suffering from amnesia, offering a different perspective. For once, we know as much as the main character. We read that battles are more strategic, with demanding boss battles and a greater emphasis on tactics on the battlefield. Also, the duelling system makes a return, adding extra depth to the gameplay.

To check it out before tomorrow's early access launch, a demo is available now on PC via Steam. This demo lets you experience the ‘Battle of Sishui Gate’ and take on massive forces and powerful enemies like Lu Bu. To access it, click on the ‘Download the Steam demo’ button on our game info!

And who knows, if you enjoy the demo you can pre-order Dynasty Warriors: Origins on Gamesplanet as a Standard, or Deluxe edition. If you get the Deluxe you'll be able to play tonight from 1am GMT. Those who purchase the standard edition will have to wait until January 17th (same time).

In both cases, by pre-ordering on Gamesplanet, you save 10% and receive the bonus ‘Nameless Warrior Garb', a costume in collaboration with Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, which can be worn in-game.

In addition to the 72-hour advanced access, the Deluxe edition also unlocks the official artbook, the soundtrack (digital edition), gold and pyroxene (valuable materials for upgrading weapons and armour).
