Elden Ring gets a free update for Multiplayer with the Colosseum update on Dec 7th!
This came as a (nearly) complete surprise: From tomorrow (December 7th 2022), Elden Ring developer From Software is releasing a fat but free upgrade package for the successful open-world action RPG. More specifically, the studio is rolling out a free DLC that will open up and make accessible the MP arenas, the so-called Colosseum (or Coliseum). This confirms the rumours: months before, there had already been a leak that promised such an arena - now the gates of the Colosseums in Elden Ring are officially opening.
In the different arenas of Elden Ring, players compete against each other online in multiplayer games. For duels, everyone-against-everyone game modes, but also for team battles against other groupings. Now we finally know what we'll be doing with our level 200 characters - knocking the tin cans off other people's heads or casting spells. It's nice that even before the release of the first Elden Ring DLC, more free content is available that will significantly enhance the multiplayer part of Elden Ring.
From Software has not given any further details yet. But be ready when the arena gates open on Wednesday!
