Do the versions of software purchased on Gamesplanet work with other companies that sell the same game? I bought a Premium Online Editon of GTA 5 with the DLC Criminal Enterprise using my ROG Elite discount thru GamesPlanet. After I did the install, it would not go further than the Rockstar Launcher, which would crash and freeze with error code 1008? Then I went to Steam's sight thinking maybe they had a version like the one I bought on here. NOPE... I bought the GTA5 from steam, spent another $45.00 on top of the $24 I spent on Game Planet. the verdict... I cant get either to work. all that other stuff installs and works, but this launcher from rockstar,,,, sheesh what a pain in the butt. plus all that cash to play online with my buddy across country that he installed so we could be in the same crime syndicate. if anyone has any info on if and how to get them to work together a wants to pipe in on if they will work together or not. the deal on here was too sweet to pass up, but if I can't get it to work on a 2018 ROG Strix SCAR II fully maxed out and updated laptop, there is a problem, something I am not doing right or the versions are not compatible with each other.

That would be an entirely different thing. and would def require some hardcore tweaking on the settings... I would entertain any ideas that you all might have with regard to this. I am at my wits end on this. Especially if I am the one that messed it up and continue to do so based on the installation process. any help on this would greatly be appreciated,
