Helldivers 2: New “Devoid of Liberty” Update Brings SEAF Reinforcements and Level 300
With the “Devoid of Liberty” update, Helldivers 2 introduces SEAF reinforcements, a higher level cap, and revamped mechanics. To celebrate, the game is now available from us at a 30% discount for a limited time.
Things are heating up on the battlefield against the Terminids, Automatons, and Illuminati: Developer Arrowhead Game Studios has released the “Devoid of Liberty” update (Patch 7.0.0) for Helldivers 2. What's Changing for the Community
The biggest new feature: You'll now be able to request SEAF reinforcements—medics equipped with machine guns and explosives who will support you during missions, treat wounded comrades, and help storm outposts. Friendly fire, of course, is still a possibility.
In addition, the level cap will be raised from 150 to 300, along with new rank titles and icons. The developers note that it could take between 3,500 and 4,000 hours of gameplay to reach the new level cap. Players who have already reached level 150 will automatically level up based on their accumulated experience.
There are also plenty of gameplay improvements in Helldivers 2: Assisted reloading has been revamped and made more stable, the emote wheel has expanded from four to eight slots, the negative effects of hard landings last for a shorter time, and several weapons and secondary weapons now have noticeably higher ammo capacity. Reload times have also been reduced in some cases. The Eagle Napalm airstrike has been visually enhanced and now covers a larger area, while vehicles like the Exo Suit react more realistically to enemy fire.
