Gamescom Trailer for Hogwarts Legacy Unleashes Dark Magic
On February 10th 2023, Warner invites us into the open-world of the action RPG Hogwarts Legacy - and confronts us with the choice of whether to engage in the dark arts of magic.
It's high time for a compelling open-world game in the Harry Potter universe, no question. Fortunately, we can can turn the world upside down on February 10th 2023 - with good and with evil magic. Hogwarts Legacy, an action RPG developed by Avalanche Software and distributed by Warner, brings the world from the Harry Potter books together under the umbrella of one big game. A new Gamescom trailer, "Sebastian Sallow's Dark Legacy", takes on the dark magic that is actually absolutely taboo for the students of Hogwarts. With appropriate consequences, as seen here in the video for Hogwarts Legacy.
Slytherin student Sebastian Sallow can't help himself and feels he has to perform an Unforgivable Curse in Hogwarts Legacy. Not only Sebastian has the choice to do so in this opulent open-world title - players can also learn them, the Dark Curses Cruciatus, Imperius and Avada Kedavra. Students of the Hogwarts Magic School are actually forbidden to draw from the repertoire of dark magic. Otherwise, they could face a long stay in Azkaban.
Apparently, in Hogwarts Legacy you will be faced with the decision to learn such a curse or to refuse to use it, within Sebastian Sallow's quest series. In the trailer, we can see Sallow making use of the Crucio Charm. A curse that causes excruciating pain to an affected person. Will you get involved with the Dark Arts in Hogwarts Legacy or will you play Hogwarts Legacy on the side of the good and the good?
Hogwarts Legacy will be released on February 10th 2023. The action RPG is now available for pre-order on Gamesplanet and those who pre-order will be able to get their hands on the Onyx Hippogriff Mount. If you can't wait for February 10th, pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition will allow you to get started 3 days earlier!
