JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R - Japan beat 'em up launch trailer
Bandai Namco has done it again and brought the video game conversion of a classic manga/anime setting to PC screens. Today the publisher presents a Japan brawler featuring 50 characters from the universe of JoJo, in the colourful and wild JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R.
Not every (German) manga fan is familiar with the JoJo universe. Perhaps this is because JoJo's Bizarre Adventure has its origins back in the early 1990s. In its home country of Japan, however, JoJo is a force to be reckoned with. Besides the manga by Hirohiko Araki, JoJo's bizarre adventures also take place in TV shows and in anime films. But JoJo is not really new to the video game universe either. The same Capcom team that was responsible for Street Fighter 3 developed JoJo's Bizarre Adventure for the arcades in 1998. And a few years before that, in 1993, there was already a JoJo's Bizarre Adventure role-playing game developed by WinkySoft for the SNES. Like a yoyo, the bizarre adventures keep coming back - starting today, there's merciless fighting in All-Star Battle R!
