What is Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2?
The team at Warhorse Studios return for the latest chapter in the Kingdom Come Deliverance Saga as Henry returns for a journey through 15th-century Bohemia. The first game launched all the way back in 2018, and now 7 years later the adventure continues as it takes place directly after the events of the original during a period of turmoil.
Of course the original was also a large RPG, filled with a big open world to explore and many side quests to partake in, and the sequel Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is following the series tradition with an even larger world, and more content than before. So big that there's even a roadmap planned for 2025 ensuring the game will receive regular updates post-release. In addition there's a Season Pass that will be included as part of the Gold Edition which will offer 3 upcoming expansions.
Players will be able to customise Henry's look, equipment and skills to their desires. Explore the lands and take on various activities including blacksmithing and archery. Visit Bath houses, taverns, castles and chat with the locals - who knows what you'll discover.
The original game was known for being a large game, and could take you up to 80 hours to finish everything. With the sequel being even larger it could take hundreds of hours to see and do everything. Whether you're a newcomer to the franchise, or a veteran of RPGs, then Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 may be the perfect medieval break you need.

Is Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 compatible with the Steam Deck?
The game is currently listed as playable on Steam Deck, though it may be a bit demanding for the handheld device due to it being a CryEngine game. If you're ok with lowering some settings it should be enjoyable, but probably not the best experience. You may want to wait until post-release and check others with the handheld to see how it runs.
