Unlimited Saving Mod for Kingdom Come Deliverance
Running low on Schnapps to save your game in Kingdom Come Deliverance? Solve the problem with the Unlimited Saving Mod and save as often as you like!
The save system in Kingdom Come Deliverance is not to everyone's tastes, and for some the limited saves that require you to have a drink in your inventory can be cumbersome - fortunately help is at hand thanks to a mod that allows you to have unlimited saves. The game features three types of saves: checkpoints, sleeping in a bed or saving the game manually, the issue with the latter is that it requires you to have Savior Schnapps in your inventory. If you do not have any then you will be unable to save. Having a supply of drink can be expensive and is not the best option for when you want to save at a crucial point.
Lucikly a mod has already been developed to solve the issue. Thanks to the Unlimited Saving Mod you'll be able to save easier from anywhere in the game (provided you have at least 1 Savior Schnapps). Note: Use mod at your OWN RISK and be sure to backup your saves folder just in case.
Save files are usually located within "C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\kingdomcome".
How to install the Mod
- Grab the mod from Nexusmods.
- Search on your disk for the installation folder of Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Usually located at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance\
- Open the "Data" folder.
- Extra the contents of the Zip file into the folder.
You will then be able to save anywhere, simply head to the menu with "Escape" and save your game. Doing this will no longer consume your Savior Schnapps when saving, though be sure not to drink it from your inventory otherwise it will remove the drink from your stash and not allow you to save. The mod has been tested with the 1.2.1 version of the game and works with the current version of the game, though future updates may change that.
