A revised Enhanced Edition of Little Nightmares is now available to play. Although the Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition will not officially be available until the release of Little Nightmares 3 on October 10, anyone who pre-orders part 3 now (on Gamesplanet with a 15% discount), regardless of the edition chosen, will receive the new Enhanced Edition of part 1 immediately as a pre-order bonus at no extra cost! Crazy? Crazy!
Note: For those who have already purchased LN1 Digitally you'll get a free upgrade from October 10th.
Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition - this is new
This means that you can play the new version today. But what can the revised version actually do, what's new in the first part of the Little Nightmares series? First and foremost, there are technical innovations that make the original from 2017 look different, literally enhanced. Some graphical advantages distinguish the new Enhanced Edition from the original and a few convenience functions have also been added.
Little Nightmares now shines with optimized 4K graphics, it runs cleaner at 60 FPS and fresh ray tracing effects conjure up a new, better look for the world of Little Nightmares. These include volumetric lighting, reflections and more believable water effects. All in all, environments look more detailed with the enhanced features and special particle effects bring even more out of the graphical presentation. In terms of gameplay, there are additional convenience functions designed to make Little Nightmares more accessible.
