More info revealed about Multiplayer Rewards and New Crafting System!

You'll be able to carry Multiplayer Rewards over to the Single-Player portion of your game and create new weapons via Andromeda's Crafting System!

Last week we heard that the Multiplayer for Mass Effect: Andromeda would be a completely optional thing and that it wouldn't involve the Single Player story as much as it did in Mass Effect 3. Now some new details from Lead Designer Ian S. Frazier have shed a bit more info on what fans can expect. If you play some of the Multiplayer you will end up gaining some rewards for the Single Player Story, though what exactly that involves was not specified (let's hope it's not some lame credits system). It's still unknown exactly what the Multiplayer will involve, but details on that are expected to be unveiled later this month (with possible news on a MP beta).

Elsewhere it's been revealed that Mass Effect: Andromeda will feature a brand new crafting system for the first time in any Mass Effect game! This new feature will allow players to equip themselves with custom weapons and name them. You can also equip melee weapons (which now have a dedicated weapon slot) and upgrade them, apparently you'll have endless possibilities on what you create so really the choice is yours. At the start of the game you will get the franchise popular Omni-Blade but as you progress you'll be able to unlock/craft more as you explore the galaxy.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is available March 23rd for PC, Xbox One and PS4. If you're in the US you can get it on March 21st. Pre-loads for PC will begin on March 17th worldwide.
