Mortal Kombat 11 - Elder God Cetrion is joining the roster!
We're getting even closer to the release of the next entry of the popular fighting series as Mortal Kombat 11 smashes onto our screens on April 23rd. Developer NetherRealm is continuing to tease more fighters in the run-up to launch and now they've given us a glimpse of Cetrion, a brand new playable character for the game. She is an Elder God that has connections with the Earth, and is able to utilise her elemental powers in battle to summon vines from the ground and use them to restrain opponents or throw rocks at enemies. Cetrion can also use sand and create spikes to impale foes on, which is not something you want to be on the receiving end off!
Additionally, NetherRealm will be adding a number of characters post-launch with the Season Pass, though it's unclear how many we'll get. We do know that the deadly sorcerer Shang Tsung will be making an appearance as one of them and will be based on the classic Mortal Kombat movie from 1995.
Mortal Kombat launches this month on April 23rd and you can pre-order either version of the game from Gamesplanet to get Shao Kahn as a playable character at launch!
