Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord – War Sails sets sail with spectacular launch trailer

Now that's what we call naval battles! The launch trailer for the long-awaited War Sails expansion for Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord is live – and with it begins the ambitious relaunch of the strategy RPG.

With Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord – War Sails, you can build your own naval empire, command ships and fight epic naval battles for the first time. And ‘epic’ is meant literally here. Because what can be seen here in the launch trailer alone makes a huge visual impact. New features such as realistic wind and water physics, boarding manoeuvres, ramming and blockades ensure intense maritime combat. At the same time, a new Northern faction arrives with fresh weapons, armour and quests that significantly expand the gameplay experience.

The War Sails expansion is out now, alongside a massive free update for the base game. This brings extensive new features, including improved diplomacy, trade, AI reworking and many convenience features that also fundamentally enhance the base game Bannerlord.
