After a long silence in space, finally a new trailer for Homeworld 3
A few years after the first announcement of Homeworld 3, there's finally a new trailer from the Game Awards 2021. Who remebers the epic original from 1999? A milestone among sci-fi games! Not without reason does Homeworld collect an average overall rating of 93 points (out of 100) on Metacritic.
Homeworld 3 is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2022. It looks very promising in the trailer. Epic, strategic space battles await you in the third part of the sci-fi series. The video doesn't show much gameplay or even clear game details. What is clear, however, is that developer Blackbird Interactive and publisher Gearbox promise all fans of space games a contemporary, modern game in which you are in command of huge fleets. Expect not only a visually stunning campaign, but also new multiplayer modes, even a co-op mode.
In the same period, i.e. at the end of 2022, Bethesda will release the no less impressive Starfield. That will presumably focus more on action and less on strategy and simulation - but it's clear that sci-fi fans will have every reason to celebrate next year. We will probably soon be able to offer Homeworld 3 (at a lower price) on Gamesplanet as well.
