PAC-MAN World Re-Pac announced for 2022 release with announcement trailer!
How many Pac-Man games does the world want?
Bandai Namco: Yes.
There are many Pac-Man games. Very many, in fact. But never too many. Here on Gamesplanet, for example, you can find the really recommendable PAC-MAN Championship Edition DX (Metascore 86) and the PAC-MAN Museum+, in which 14 Pac-Man classics can not only be exhibited but also played. But PAC-MAN World, released in 1999 for PlayStation 1, is not included in the museum.
But soon, on August 26th 2022, Bandai Namco will release a remake of the classic under the name PAC-MAN World Re-Pac for PC. Here you can see the first trailer for the new Pac-Man spectacle. In PAC-MAN World Re-Pac you are yellow and round as a ball on Ghost Island. The ghosts who gave the game its name have taken over Pac-Man's friends - no way!
The original Pac-Man World will also be included in the new Re-Pac version. However, the original version will only be available as a reward once you have completed the main game. The worlds of PAC-MAN World Re-Pac are varied and Pac-Man has a few special abilities in store. His transformation into a giant Pac-Man is also shown in the announcement trailer.
