The cyberpunk life sim Nivalis is now called Nivalis Nights - launches September 29th 2026

The game is now officially titled Nivalis Nights and is no longer simply Nivalis. Publisher 505 Games has released a release date trailer setting the release date for September 29, 2026.

Developer Ion Lands has been quiet for a long time, but now it’s clear: The former Nivalis has become Nivalis Nights. New name, new logo, same game. The reason for the hiatus was a legal dispute with a third party that had been ongoing behind the scenes since October—the matter has since been resolved.

In the new release date trailer, the studio celebrates the relaunch with a firm release date: Starting September 29, 2026, you’ll be able to settle into the voxel metropolis of this cyberpunk life sim. In terms of gameplay, everything stays the same—Nivalis Nights is a mix of slice-of-life simulation and business management set in a cyberpunk setting. You’ll start small—perhaps with a noodle stand—and work your way up, step by step, to restaurants and nightclubs.

In addition to business life, you can look forward to fishing, decorating your apartment, and forming genuine relationships with the city’s quirky residents. If you’re familiar with Cloudpunk, you’ll feel right at home here—this time from a more laid-back perspective.
