Palworld 1.0 is out!
Palworld version 1.0 has been released with a large patch that officially marks the game's transition from Early Access to full release. It offers a plethora of new end-game content, world expansions, mechanical overhauls, quality-of-life modifications, and crucial performance improvements.
With the addition of 72 new Pals, the world now has an amazing 287 Pals! Additionally, it includes rebalanced stats and abilities for all Pals, new ways to improve your Pals through Awakening and Mutation, and extensive changes to many parts of the game, such as base building, multiplayer, and graphics.
Major Highlights of the 1.0 Release Changelog:
World Expansion & New Areas: The map has been expanded to include a new, high-difficulty volcanic region. This zone features dense end-game environments, unique harvesting nodes, and environmental hazards that require specialized gear to navigate.
Level Cap & Technology Increase: The player and Pal level caps have been increased, opening up access to an entirely new tier of technologies. Players can unlock advanced base-building structures, heavy automated assembly lines, and high-tier military weaponry.
New Pals and Fusion Forms: A substantial roster of entirely new Pals has been introduced to the wild. Additionally, multiple new "Fusion" variants (elemental mutations of existing fan-favorite Pals) are now discoverable or breedable.
Endgame Raids and Factions: Players can now challenge a brand-new, highly challenging Raid Boss by gathering specific items across the world. A new hostile enemy faction has also emerged, establishing strongholds, fortified bases, and unique dungeons across the islands.
Major Base & Worker AI Overhaul: Pal AI behavior at bases has been radically improved. Work routing has been reworked so Pals intelligently prioritize tasks, transport items more efficiently, and suffer significantly fewer pathfinding or clipping issues.
Combat Balance & Economy Adjustments: Mechanical balance has been fine-tuned. Skill damage formulas, stamina consumption, and weapon damage outputs have been rebalanced for a more rewarding end-game loop. Drops from bosses and chests have been adjusted to incentivize exploration.
Multiplayer Stability & Anti-Cheat: Infrastructure for dedicated servers has been completely rewritten to maximize performance, reduce memory leaks, and stabilize high-player lobbies. Enhanced anti-cheat detection methods have also been deployed.
UI/UX Overhaul: The user interface features major updates, including streamlined building menus, clear categorization in the technology tree, an improved inventory sorting system, and more readable status effect indicators during combat.
