Pillars of Eternity 2: Rum Runner's Pack Free DLC Now Available

Grab yourself a bottom of Rum in the latest Free DLC for the recently released RPG sequel Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire with the Rum Runner's Pack - which is now available!

It's only been out a few weeks and already players are enjoying the RPG sequel Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire, and in keeping with the cheer the developers at Obisdian Entertainment have released another Free DLC Pack for the game (with more coming in the coming months). The New "Rum Runner's Pack includes Mirke, a new sidekick that will assist in your adventures. As well as getting Mirke, you can also enjoy your own set of six new libations to keep those crewmates happy during your voyage, which adds the "Drunken" personality idle animation too. You can download the DLC pack from Steam for free!

Next month we will see Patch 1.1 for the game that "contains hundreds of fixes" based on internal testing and community feedback. It will feature a complete overhaul for the Veteran and Path of the Dammed difficulties, with more enemies per encounter and new "level scaling" adjustments to make things even more challenging. Plus for those who were looking to skip the introduction sequence and jump straight into the second scene for those starting a fresh run - that will be included as an option from the new game screen and will not require Berath's Blessings points to activate. Finally, Patch 1.1 adds in new cosmetic customisations that will allow players to change their appearance at any time.

This marks the second Free DLC available for the game, with the first being the Critical Role Pack which was available on release. Next month we'll also get even more free DLC launching, then in July we'll get the first paid DLC "Beasts of Winter" which promises more areas and quests to keep us busy.
