Pompeii: The Legacy - the “Floor is Lava” and you rebuild Pompeii
Siscia Games is ready to launch the city-building simulation Pompeii: The Legacy into early access. Here is the release trailer for the EA launch on September 23rd.
Pompeii: The Legacy from developer and publisher Siscia Games takes you on a journey back in time to ancient Rome, just 20 years after the devastating eruption of Mount Vesuvius. Pompeii lies in ruins, and you take on the role of the head of a family that oversees the reconstruction of the city over several generations. The historical city-building simulation offers you a rich toolbox for this: you decide on architecture, trade, research, politics, and social structures. At the same time, you are plagued by the whims of nature – from earthquakes, pandemics, and swarms of locusts to further volcanic eruptions. Every decision affects not only the city and your reputation, but also your family legacy.
Pompeii: The Legacy combines a historically accurate depiction of ancient Rome with artistic license, taking into account the Roman Empire under Trajan, which sets the social, political, and cultural context. When building, you enjoy freedoms that are not necessarily in a historical context. Technology and other research trees bring complexity and variety into play. There's a lot to do—get stuck in!
