Nvidia's launch trailer for Pragmata showcases the benefits of ray tracing and DLSS 4.0

Capcom's new IP is off to a flying start: Pragmata currently holds a score of 88 out of 100 on Metacritic. Nvidia is seizing the opportunity to highlight the benefits of the PC version with a video.

With the new trailer for Pragmata, Capcom and Nvidia offer an impressive preview of the graphics in the sci-fi adventure, which is set to release on April 17. This video focuses on the PC version with state-of-the-art graphics technology. The clip presented by Nvidia demonstrates high-level ray tracing: path tracing ensures particularly realistic lighting calculations and reflections, while DLSS 4.0, including Multi-Frame Generation and Ray Reconstruction, is designed to massively boost performance.

In terms of story, Pragmata transports players to the moon in the near future. After discovering the mysterious “Lunam Ore,” humanity develops “Lunafilament,” a material capable of replicating nearly anything. But contact with a research station is suddenly lost. Astronaut Hugh Williams is sent to investigate and encounters the android Diana there. Together, they find themselves targeted by a hostile AI that controls the station.

The unlikely duo must fight their way through the facility, hack systems, and find a way back to Earth. Pragmata aims to shine with cutting-edge technology, especially on PC—provided you have the necessary hardware. Want to find out how the game is?
