Prey: Typhon Hunter Multiplayer & VR update launching December 11th for Mooncrash DLC owners
Bethesda have finally announced the release date for Prey's upcoming Multiplayer Update, which is launching next week on December 11th. The update, which is free all owners of Prey's Mooncrash DLC, will add multiplayer to the game. You'll play Morgan Yu, and must fight against 5 other survivors as they attempt to hunt you down by any means necessary. Additionally, the update will also include VR modes for the game with the release of TranStar VR, that is a single player escape room that is set days before the events of the main game. Solve puzzles on various maps that have their own story and objectives.

- Typhon Hunter Multiplayer: Mooncrash also includes the Typhon Hunter multiplayer update, a lethal game of hide and seek between a single survivor (Morgan Yu) and five other players who stalk, hunt, and hide in plain sight as shape-shifting Mimic aliens..
- TranStar VR: TranStar VR is a single-player escape room mode designed exclusively for VR, and it is included in the Typhon Hunter update. Set just days before the events of Prey, TranStar VR puts you in the shoes of various TranStar employees, solving puzzles in some of the most memorable locations on Talos I. Each map will have its own unique story and objective.
