A New Quake may be in production

It might be only days since we were given the hell infested shooter DOOM but it appears as if another fragfest is coming our way as Bethesda is reportedly looking for staff to create a new Quake title.

The job descriptions posted point to experience with DOOM and Quake so it doesn't point to a Quake title for certain but taking into account the recent Wolfenstein and DOOM remakes it's a fair bet Quake is on the chopping board next. Quake IV was the last main entry into the series (unless you count Quake Live) which was released in 2005 so it's about time for another Quake.

As someone that played quite a bit of Quake II with a group of friends I hope the multiplayer is made up of countless hours of gore, guns and lava!
