Ravenbound is a fast-paced action game that combines the challenges of a roguelite with the choices of an open world. It is the first open-world roguelite game from developer and publisher Systemic Reaction and brings with it some interesting aspects that hardly exist in this form in any other representative of the genre.

The game sets you against a whole host of creatures from Scandinavian folklore, combined with a fascinating, almost fairytale-like artstyle. Ravenbound offers a variety of features, such as a crafting system that allows you to improve and customise your weapons and armour - a wide range of weapons and abilities are available to you in Ravenbound. It's clear that as the "soul host of an ancient" power, you have certain powers up your sleeve and you have various quests to complete.

You are a soul host to the Raven, an immortal weapon forged by imprisoned gods. To free them and restore order to the island of Ávalt, the Raven must restore its power one Soul Host lifetime at a time.

A Unique Fantasy Open-World Inspired by Scandinavian Folklore.
Battle Scandinavian mythical creatures and tell tales of those lost in the forest. Face great trolls, ruthless Hulders and undead Draugr that you will encounter as you explore the beautiful island of Ávalt, whether on foot or as a raven gliding through the air.

Use the right cards to ensure victory.
Progress is based on unlockables and cards you find on your journey through Ávalt. With each lifetime, new cards are unlocked - some by chance, others by your choice. As you get stronger, your rewards get better.
