[E3 2018] Resident Evil 2 Remake: 21 Minutes of Gameplay Footage
Earlier this week we got news that the wait would soon be over for Capcom's Resident Evil 2 remake as it arrives early next year on January 25th, and we got a taste of the game with some trailers. Now thanks to some new gameplay from IGN we can look at the game in greater detail from Leon S Kennedy's point of view. The demo starts off with Leon's trip to the Racoon City Police Department as he tries to come to grips with the outbreak and his first day on the job. Like the original game from 1998 players will once again be able to control either Leon S Kennedy or Claire Redfield as they solve puzzles and do their best to escape the outbreak while uncovering new mysteries. Gameplay is no longer contained to a fixed camera for this remake and it's given an "over the top" shoulder camera (like Resident Evil 4) to allow a more immersive game.
Resident Evil 2 is coming to PC, Xbox One and PS4 on January 25th 2019.
