Face off against the terrifying Nemesis next year when Capcom release the Resident Evil 3 remake on April 3rd 2020. See the announce trailer and screens while you wait!
Earlier this year Capcom surprised many of us with a fantastic recreation of their classic survival horror game Resident Evil 2 which took the original and modernised it. Now it seems they're doing that again as Resident Evil 3 has been announced for an April 3rd 2020 release date!
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Resident Evil 3, Capcom will release a re-imagined version of the game. A deadly outbreak has resulted in unspeakable creations (including the mighty Nemesis) and it'll be up to Jill Valentine to escape the city, with a story that takes place during and after the events of Resident Evil 2. Like with RE2, expect plenty of visual upgrades thanks to the powert of the RE Engine which was also used in this years hack and slash action game Devil May Cry 5
As well as the complete single player campaign, the game will also feature the recently announced Resident Evil Project Resistance, which is an asymmetrical 4 vs. 1 multiplayer game. Players will take on the role of famous Resident Evil characters and use the environment in order to survive, while another player (the Mastermind) will create traps and place creatures in order to slow them down. Masterminds will also able to take direct control of powerful creatures like the Tyrant or G-Birkin and get thrown into the action.
