Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice launches March 22nd 2019
Activision and From Software announce the release of their upcoming 3rd person action game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice which launches on March 22nd 2019.
Earlier this year we got a glimpse of From Software's next project when they teamed up with Activision to announce Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice at E3 2018. Now we've finally been given a date as the game is launching on PC, Xbox One and PS4 on March 22nd 2019. Like From Software's masterpiece series Dark Souls, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will see fast paced combat and challenging fights with the game being set in Japan during the late 1500's.
Play as the one-armed wolf and unleash an arsenal of deadly prosthetic tools and powerful ninja abilities while you blend stealth, vertical traversal, and visceral head to head combat in a bloody confrontation. You can even use reconstruct the tools to unlock new abilities such as powerful charge attacks that can be used to close the gap against foes.
Fans visiting Gamescom 2018 will be able to try out the game from themselves and experience fast paced sword combat. Here's what players can expect from Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice:
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Features
- Sword Combat: The core combat in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is measured by an intense clash of steel. Players will take command of special Sword Arts to supplement their regular attacks, and tear down enemy defenses before sealing the final blow.
- Shinobi Prosthetic: Players can equip and switch between a variety of unique Prosthetic Tools to find the weakness of a formidable enemy. Additionally, tools such as the Grappling Hook can be utilised to bring an extra dimension to exploration and traversal throughout the world of the game.
- Resurrection: Used as an opportunity for a tactical retreat or to deceive an enemy and go on the counter-offensive, this new combat strategy allows players to resurrect on the spot, even after a hasty death.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is coming to PC, Xbox One and PS4 on March 22nd 2019.
