Civilization 6: New content announced with the 5th DLC pack for the New Frontier Pass
Even more content is headed to Civilization 6, starting with new packs launching on January 28th 2021 in the Frontier Pass. Get a look at the new DLC with a first look 5 minute long gameplay video!
For Civilization fans, the New Frontier Pass is practically a must-have add-on, as it regularly adds fresh content to the strategy bestseller. The fifth DLC included in the New Frontier Pass for Civilization 6 will arrive at the end of January. The so-called Vietnam and Kublai Khan package serves you a new civilisation, a new game mode, a district with new buildings and a new leader is also introduced. You can use Kublai Khan as the boss of China or Mongolia. According to the developers, they had some visions when creating the new content - they tell you about them in the video "January 2021 DLC".
Also interesting is the brand new game mode for Civilization 6, which the developers have named "Monopolies & Corporations". It focuses entirely on the economy, so that in future the ruble will roll smoothly in your Empire. Monopolies and Corporations lets you build industries with double resource yields. This ensures growth in cities and improves the supply of wholesale merchant points. If things go well, industries can be converted into improved corporations for products that you place on the stock exchange and in the buildings of seaports. The developers mention "Great Works" for museums as an example. If you manage to offer a luxury good in a worldwide monopoly position, you will soon have well-filled coffers.
