Team17 has launched the second playtest for Sintopia on Steam. Until February 16, you can try out the hellish strategy and management simulation, which is scheduled for release in 2026. A new overview trailer shows how you pull the strings in both the underworld and the overworld at the same time.
In Sintopia, you take charge of a crowded hell. You process souls in your “sin factory,” build facilities, hire infernal workers, and optimize your processes. At the same time, as a god-like entity, you intervene in the lives of the “humus” in the upper world—with direct interventions that influence sin, productivity, and rebirth. Your decisions determine how efficiently your system runs and whether you meet the expectations of the chairman.
The current build includes two tutorial missions and a challenge mode with no time limit. Improved AI, adjusted unit values, and optimized resource behavior are also part of the test. Important: The version is only playable in English, and progress can be reset.
How to participate in the Sintopia playtest:
Open the Sintopia Steam page, click on “Join the Sintopia Playtest,” check your notifications or emails, and then install the “Sintopia Playtest” via your library.
