RPG Solasta 2 launches in Early Access: Launch trailer and roadmap revealed
The tactical RPG Solasta 2 from Tactical Adventures is now available to play in Early Access. A detailed roadmap for the coming months after release is also already available.
After a playable demo attracted hundreds of thousands of adventurers to the small village of Tor Wen, it is now officially playable: Solasta 2 has launched in Early Access, initially with limited content. If you don't know what to expect yet, check out the launch trailer:
Tactical RPG based on tabletop games
Solasta 2 is the sequel to Solasta: Crown of the Magister (currently 79% off) and is based on the rules of the world's most popular pen-and-paper role-playing game, Dungeons & Dragons. You assemble a group of four characters and travel to the distant continent of Neokos, where you uncover your family's legacy and confront the mysterious threat of the Shadwyn, which brings with it a growing wave of corruption. Turn-based combat, preparing spells, planning sneak attacks, freely exploring the map – Solasta 2 combines classic D&D tabletop feel with an open world design.
Solasta 2 Early Access Roadmap: What's coming and when?
At launch, six classes, 13 subclasses, four ancestries, and a level cap of 4 in Chapter 1 will be playable. Tactical Adventures has also published a roadmap for the rest of the Early Access period:
Q3 2026 - Update 1: Multiplayer, a new class, more character customization, and new world events
Q4 2026 - Update 2: Two new lineages, another class, level cap 6, start of Act II, and a crafting system
Later: More classes, more lineages, a faction system, and additional content
The developers expressly emphasize that community feedback is being incorporated into ongoing development—co-creation instead of a one-way street.
