Don't stop him now: Sonic Frontiers with music by Queen in the launch trailer
For the launch trailer of the now available open-world game Sonic Frontiers, SEGA has come up with something very special: Sonic The Hedgehog flits across the screen to Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now". And that fits like a glove, because the lyrics in combination seem as if they were tailored to Sonic's spiky body:
I'm a shooting star leaping through the sky like a tiger
Defying the laws of gravity
I'm a racing car passing by like Lady Godiva
I'm gonna go, go, go, there's no stopping me
I'm burnin' through the sky, yeah
200 degrees, that's why they call me Mister Fahrenheit
I'm travelling at the speed of light
I wanna make a supersonic man out of you
I'm having such a good time
Gamers really do seem to be having a "good time" with Sonic Frontiers. Just one day after its release, Sonic Frontiers has already received almost 1,900 reviews from the community on Steam and, all in all, a "very positive" result. In the trade press, however, opinions differ greatly in some cases. Attack of the Fanboy, for example, gave Sonic Frontiers a whopping 90 out of 100 points, but elsewhere there are complaints about the graphic pop-ins, which are said to be particularly noticeable on the Playstation, which in turn leads to downgrades. In any case, we wish you lots of fun with SEGA's open-world Sonic and a "good time"!
