Star Wars: Galactic Racer: Story trailer reveals the feud between Shade and champion Kestar Bool
The story trailer for Star Wars: Galactic Racer showcases the rivalry between underdog Shade and league champion Kestar Bool. When the game launches on 6 October, you’ll be able to settle your own feuds in-game.
Star Wars: Galactic Racer is a racing game with a full-fledged story mode, set in the Outer Rim underworld of the Star Wars galaxy. Take on the role of Shade, a mysterious pilot with a personal score to settle with the Bool family. Although the so-called Galactic League was founded by a certain Darius Pax, it is now ruled by the equally talented and ruthless Kestar Bool. As the reigning champion, he uses his position of power to intimidate the competition and expand his influence. Pax hires Shade to finally oust Kestar from the throne – and she’s aided in this by the resourceful mechanic Hibi and the legendary podracer pilot Sebulba.
Galactic Racer playfully focuses on cut-throat speeder and podracer duels: you’ll ram, cut in and overtake one another across the galaxy’s racetracks, always weighing up the risks and rewards. The story trailer, which was shown at Summer Game Fest 2026, now offers deeper insights into the rivalry between Shade and Kestar Bool and introduces a brand-new venue: Derven Acos – an arena built specifically for the league that combines all planetary track conditions.
