Starfield is a science fiction role-playing game set in the year 2330, after a very turbulent time for mankind. Technological leaps have made it possible for humans to conduct research beyond the solar system. But conflicts slow down the development and spread in the universe. The history of Starfield - a chronological order of events

• In the year 2050 mankind lands on Mars for the first time.

• 2100 begins permanent colonization of space.

• In 2156 humans will reach Alpha Centauri, the star closest to the Sun, at a distance of 4.37 light-years from Earth.

• 2159 is the founding year of the United Colonies, a political and economic alliance of space colonies.

• Just one year later, 2160, New Atlantis is born. A place considered the capital of the United Colonies as of 2161.

• 2167 Solomon Coe settles Cheyenne and founds the first settlement there called Akila City.

• 2188 Solomon Coe, Volii and Cheyenne forge a new alliance, the Freestar Collective. Official passing from the following year.

• In 2194, the United Colonies launch a star station called "the Clinic" into orbit of Deepala in the Narion system. This is seen by residents of the Narion system as an attempt by the UC to push boundaries. When the United Colonies refuse to remove the station, Narion's residents agree to join the Freestar Collective, which mobilizes 2195 to protect the system.

• When the United Colonies then move one of their fleets to the Narion system, the Freestar Collective reacts with further measures - in 2196 the Narion War begins.

• 2216 is still at war between the warring alliances, much to the displeasure of the public. The conflict was only considered over when the US and the Freestar Collective signed the Narion Treaty later that year. In the contract, the term "populated systems" is formally recorded.

• 2221 the Freestar Collective forms an elite squad to protect Freestar citizens, the Freestar Rangers. The elite soldiers are also to be used for investigative purposes.

• 2275 Sebastian Banks founds the Constellation. The founding members include: physicist Chloe Bao, botanist and xenoflora specialist Darius Andris, wealthy heiress and adventurer Bernadette Laurent, former smuggler Everado Gil, doctor and biologist Kadri Toma, and Sebastian's youngest member and protégé, Aja Mamasa. Establishment of the Lodge in New Atlantis.

• 2305 Barrett joins the Constellation.

• 2307 starts the Freestar Collective with the cultivation of the planet Vesta in the Lunara system.

• 2308 The United Colonies accuse the Freestar Collective of violating the Treaty of Narion by establishing a colony on a fourth star system. After breaking off diplomatic talks, UC besiege Vesta and kill anyone defending Vesta. Beginning of the Colonial War.

• In the year 2310, the Constellation comes into possession of its first extraterrestrial artifact, which goes into the Constellation's archives.

• 2311 ends the Colony War with the Battle of Cheyenne, in which a Freestar flotilla of civilian and military ships use raid-style attacks to eliminate large UC Navy ships.

• In 2315, in response to the Freestar Collective's use of civilian ships, the United Colonies responded by forming the UC Vanguard, a fleet of civilian ships dedicated to protecting the UC. Those who prove themselves are granted citizenship of the United Colonies.

• 2319 Sarah Morgan takes a career leap and is named the youngest leader of the UC Navigator Corps. But since 2320 her division is already dissolved, she joins the Constellation in the next step.

• 2321 also joins the Constellation, Walter Stroud, as the alliance's top donor. Stroud is part owner of Stroud-Eklund, one of the largest starship manufacturers in the settled systems.

• A year later, 2322, former Crimson Fleet pirate Vladimir Sall also joins the Constellation.

• In the year 2325, Sarah Morgen makes it to the board of directors of the Constelling. In the same year, the theologian Matteoo Khatri added another member to the Constellation.

• 2326 Barrett discovers the artifact in the Constellation's archives and suspects that the find must be something special. After months of discussions with Sarah Morgan, talented scientist Noel is also invited to join the ranks of the Constellation.

• 2327 is also joined by Freestar ranger Sam Coe and his daughter Cora, followed by Andreja a year later.

• In 2328, Barrett also manages to convince the Constellation to buy the L-868 star station and have it converted into a space scanner - nicknamed "the Eye".

• 2330 - your adventures in Starfield begin.
